Lessons in labeling

Once you’ve gone through the process of decluttering, grouping, assigning homes & finding appropriate containers, it can be helpful to label. That way you — and others who might be using the things or the space — will easily be able to help everything find its way back home.

You absolutely don’t need a label maker. Just be sure your labels are placed front & center, and are easy to read. Beware of catch-all categories like “random stuff” or “odds & ends,” which can lead you down the dark road to a bin of clutter.
