In praise of garages

Gloria Liu’s article from Outside Online explains how the garage can become a “repository for dreams, memories, childhood memorabilia. It’s a space that gets filled with all the refuse—the stuff you feel an emotional tie to but isn’t ready to go in the garbage, you’re not ready to say goodbye.”

The garage is a unique space that — more often than other rooms — can end up playing many roles. That’s why it can easily sneak into organizational disarray over time. What do you think of your garage?
